hi - got three parakeets [Archive]

Hi,
My name is Michelle... I adopted one sugar glider last week as a rescue... she was found outside. We named her Daisy... We built her a cage out of pvc wire mesh we got from Home Depo. It's 2 foot high, 3 1/2 foot wide, and 1 1/2 foot deep. So with such a roomy cage she was looking lonely, we got her a couple of companions from a breeder and will probably add more... :D

awwwe thats nice, and her cage sounds very nice and i am sure that everyone here would LOVE to see pictures!!

Please excuse me for asking, but I have never heard the term, "Sugar Glider," so I am assuming by the post title, that you are referring to a type of Parakeet. Being new to Budgie/Parakeets myself, I have a lot to learn.

Your cage sounds wonderful and I'm sure your 3 Parakeets will love it. That is awesome that you adopted from the rescue. What a thoughtful and caring thing to do.

Daisy is a cute name. Have you named the other 2 yet? I hope you will keep us informed on how things are going.

sugar gliders are a small marsupial.... They are my little furbabies... LOL I have pics of them on the attached file...
