I'd like to congratulate Donna on being selected as moderator for the Budgie Talk forum. We're glad she could join us, and we expect her to be a great addition to our staff. Let's all welcome Donna to the Talk Budgies team!

Just so you all know, we will be hiring at least one or two more moderators (and/or maybe a super moderator).

Wow "EVERYONE,"

Thank you so much for the nice warm welcome! When I came online tonight, I had no idea that I would find all of these posts, welcoming me as Moderator. It was such a neat feeling to be welcomed and encouraged by so many. :happy4:

I have not been with the forum very long, but I already feel like I know a lot of you. It is such a pleasure to be in touch with friendly-knowledgeable-people that all share a common interest.

Now that i have decided to return to the forum just as before i would really love to be a moderater, however i never think that i would be selected. Is there any way to apply or anything, or does it go as it was before, just keep posting and you guys will choose a moderater for the jobs? Just want to kno.

There's no application form, you just have to be a good registered user. There is various points the admins look at before choosing. :)

"What is a forum moderator?A forum moderator is somebody with special powers to control law and order on a forum(aka discussion board).They can usually edit out posts,delete threads,ban people,and have authority."

I know that description there makes them sound horrible but they are not, they moderate things on a forum and keep things in control. ;)
