As promised, today is the day I introduce our new, #1 requested feature.

At first I was opposed to the idea, but due to the overwhelming popular opinion, which was spoken both during and before the survey, we now have a new forum dedicated to talk about all other pets! :D

The new Other Pets forum can be found in the off topic area where the Other Birds forum used to be. The Other Birds forum is now located inside the Other Pets forum. You can use this new forum to discuss any other pet-related topics. However, please keep other bird-related topics specifically in the Other Birds forum.

I hope everyone enjoys this new (and much requested) feature. :)

I would never have any other pets other than budgies:p
Still, I'll be happy to look at other people's pythons, cats, dogs....etc...:p

I don't mind the new add on. Although I personally don't think it's really necessary. This is a budgie forum and for those who want to post pictures of their other pets can do so under the chit-chat forum.

Thats my 2-cents worth :)

While I agree with you, the popular opinion was to add it.

I'ld have to agree too. My forum has an "Other Pets" section, but that's because it's an all-bird forum and we can't have an "Other Birds" section, so yeah. The main focus of this site is budgies and too many off-topic forums are unnerving. But I think it's okay but not necessary...


However, it did unclutter the "Chit Chat" forum quite a bit, which is good.

I do agree with Budgietom, but then again if members wishes to put topics about other pets I would be gladly to join.

I only have one pet at a time, they can work out too expensive and too time comsuming.
