Yes, your little sweety will heal. Just keep an eye on it in case there are signs of infection. If an infection starts, you will likely see the wound not heal....and there may be oozing from it.

As long as there is no blood she'll probably be fine. Try putting Neosporin or some other type of antibiotic ointment on it. This should help it heal faster and help with any pain. If you can't touch her feet, simply put some on your finger [or perch if she's not finger trained] and let her walk around in it. We use Neosporin on all of our birds' feet at least once a week. It's good foot care and will help prevent foot sores from perching. Best of luck you and Pattie. Keep us posted.
