What did everyone spend their VERY first paycheck on?

Can you remember what you spent your first paycheck on?

I got my very first paycheck today.
I've only worked 14hours though, so it was a small check.

I got $93. :D

It's going towards my new budgies I'll be getting soon. =]

I'm curious how everyone else spent their money?

My first paycheck came from a summer job I had in high school...washing , waxing and detailing school buses..can we say gross!:P Especially under the seats. BLECH! Anyway, I bought myself some school clothes for the new school year and spent the rest on gifts for my mom and little brother.:) It was fun.

You know I really can't remember. I do remember that when I moved down here I was going to use my first pay check I got from my first job here in the valley and me and Tom where going to go minature golfing but the I ended up in a dumb accident and totaled my truck like that day or the next.:( But before that with me first real job it went to truck payment, gas, and anything else I wanted to spend it on.:D

My next few checks are going to be substantially larger, and I'm saving up for my own laptop.
Gramma has hers, and lets me use the desktop often, but also my cousin and aunt do too.
And my cousin broke the keyboard and blamed me today while I was out picking up my check!
I was so frustrated! That's why I need my own things!! lol

my first job was at a news paper factory, Stuffing the ads into the newspaper

which isn't as easy as it sounds standing on concrete for 12+ hrs a day lifting heavy bundles of newspaper for 5.15 a hr -

but any ways my 1st check went to rent, bills, food I was 18 on my own had to do the grown up thing :P

Delivering newspapers as a family, I got part of the paycheck. I think I spent mine on The Lord of the Rings books at the time. This was nearly four years ago.

However, with my own official first job paycheck, maybe I'll frame it. :D I was suppose to get a job this summer, but never got it. :mad:

Hopefully, I can get it soon, I'm suppose to be a bagger for a grocery store. My money goes towards college and a car.

When I was 12, I babysat and I am guessing I spent my money on going to the movies...

My first real paycheck would be from when I was bagging groceries and I am guessing that money went to gas so I oculd get to work and Victoria secret bras....While in high school it was important to have nice under garments for when you changed in gym class, LOL! Now like Gretchen Wilson says Kmart/Walmart underwear are just as sexy, LOL!!!

i dont think i will spend my first pay check, as i like saving up! :P

Anyway but i would spend the second on.. maybe birds, cage or toys etc :D
i now have this 'bird fever' haha. :)

I thinkkk my first job, well it wasnt really a propper job.
I was like 10 or 12 :)
We went around the neighbour hood asking people if they wanted there cars washed.
I think i got like 20 pound? :XD:

I used to baby sit and deliver leaflets and got the odd few pounds here and there, my first proper job was a receptionist for a holiday company. I can't really remember but I guess I spent the money I earned on clothes, cds and a stereo (once I had a bit)

Oh I almost forgot about when my cousin and I were in business for ourselves..we must have been about 6 or 7. We would bake little cakes and things in her Easy Bake Oven and make a big jug of Kool-aid. We would put all of our goods in this old red wagon along with one of those baby toys that plays music with pictures that go around (we thought it would be similar to the ice cream truck and get customers attention;)) Then we would pull the wagon around our neighborhood selling our goodies. I remember specifically we did this to earn enough money to get our mom's Mother's Day presents and we earned enough with a bit left over for some candy for ourselves.:) Good memories.:D

*Gasp* We go to the Little Ceasers in a place called Chillicothe every time we travel far away. Its quite far, very far away, but we love Little Ceasers.

My first job started when I was 3 or 4... I was deemed big enough to drive tractor and help at the farm. *L* don't recall much in the way of paychecks from it, though by the time I was 7-8 I'd somehow bought 4 cows from dad. Being a beef farm, we'd sell the calves in the fall - so I guess that was my first 'paycheck'... 2000$ !! *L* It all ended up going to school though when I was old enough for Uni.

That would mean that he is taking advantage of you which is probably what upsets your mom. In a good relationship, people take care of each other, it is not a one way street.

I agree with that....I'ld give you Karma but I don't think i can as I used it all up in one of those other threads and I'll probably have to deal with the "HAHAHAHA You can't give out any more Karma today!!!!" thing.

That's a habit I'd get out of pretty darn quick, and if he doesn't like it he's not worth having around. You should be able to enjoy the money you earn yourself.
