Avian Influenza.

Are there any chance that Australian budgies might have them, just heard abit on radio talking about all kinds of influenza..

I don't think any pet birds in Australia have it.
As far as I know no pet birds in North America or Europe have it either. It comes from countries where people live in close quarters with their animals so that diseases spread from fowl to human.

I hope there will never be a major outbreak. People will become scared of all pet birds:(

Well, that's a bit of relief, yeah hope any of those diseases don't come to our birdies:)
