Hello, I'm a newbie to the site

Hello. I am lover of those cute budgies now for atleast six years. I had one budgie boy awhile back, but he had past away and I didn't know if I would want another like him or not at first. Like I metioned above, I now have not just one , but two girl budgies. Their names are Sunshine and Wink. They each have interesting personilities that make them unique to me. Of course, don't tell them that their furry brothers are not like them in looks. Anyway, I am looking forward to getting to know about everyones babies and more information in the future. Good night for now.

Thank-you. Sunshine is a pale shade of yellow like a ray of sunshine with a green vest shirt color for the rest of the body. Wink 's colors are white with little black feathertips and robin's baby blue belly. They and their brothers have my husband and I trainned well ( HEHEHEHE!!! ). No, they are well care for and very much loved.

Hello Animal Lover,

Welcome to the forum! It is so nice to meet you - and of course I'm partial because I too have a Budgie similar to yours in name. Yes, the most recent of my 3 Budgies is "Sunny Sonshine." And she is mainly yellow with a little green on her chest, also. I have only had her since August.

My other 2 Budgies (which I think are males) were bought in June. So you have me beat by a long-shot when it comes to being a Budgie owner. But just-the-same, I'm definitely as hooked as you are when it comes to loving the little guys!

Hopefully you'll continue to keep us informed, and also post some photos in the future, so we can enjoy your fine feathered friends, right along with you. :D

Thank-you all for the nice messages and hoping to send pictures of my little ladies for everyone to see in the coming weeks ( I hope the scaner will work right ) . It looks like everyone has such pretty birds ,too. I did have one little boy about six years ago who was my very 1st bird of any sorts to own and his name was Bilbo like in the movies Lord of the Rings. Now, I have two wonderful little girls who are as much fun to have around to enjoy each day. They love to talk, swim or more like water fights ( hehehe ) and just doing little things of their own unique tricks for us to enjoy or atleast let us know they are doing well. Anyway, we hope everyone and their feather ones have a great week and fun adventures ahead together as longtime friends.
