Celery is fine although it's very watery so it's not too nutritious. Parsley's also fine but again, in small quantities. Some good ones are:
- Spinach
- Snow Pea Sprouts
- Capsicum
- Brocolli
- Beans
- Snow Peas

How about carrot tops? Are they good? (The green tops of the carrots, not the orange part.)

Yes they are, I think.

Anyone else think different?

My hamster loves banannas! We often call her a big bananna, because she's so clumsy!

I remember Bobby used to LOVE banannas to!

Daily veggies aren't a bad thing. Most budgies wouldn't eat enough of the veggies to have a problem. I think it is a good idea to offer them daily. Besides, if you find they are eating too many of the veggies you offer, you can always take them out of the cage or offer smaller portions.

I read somewhere that cabbage wasn't good for them .... that it'd make them sick
I have no idea, I'm new to birds :S .... some sites say no-no while others say it's good, I'm confused

my two won't eat anything but seed .... I'm going to try carrots tomorrow though

from this site .... http://www.pittwateranimalhospital.com.au/budgies.html
Dangerous foods - Avocado, rhubarb, chocolate and caffeine are all poisonous. Cabbage will make your budgie sick. Spinach and parsley bind to calcium, reducing its absorption from the gut; this is a real problem with laying birds who need all the calcium they can get. Beans, croton, eggplant, raw peanuts, apple seeds, raw potatoes and asparagus are also no-nos.

list of things bad .... http://www.budgies.org/info/plants.html

My budgie really likes dandilion leaves ^^ Horray for having an overgrown garden! :P And Petri also likes carrots, little bits of pickles (?) (not usually)and small itty bitty teeny weeny peices of cheese once in a while (which is WAY not usually) oh and broccoli ^^
