Hes unique isn't he..apparently hes the only one that came out like that and the breeder wasn't going to sell me him..hes got another one for me and he is similar but with turqoise not sky blue. going to go see him over weekend and maybe buy him.

He is isn't he lol, having a dilema though Zarrion..just not sure if Eddie is male after all. his cere is now very pale and hes aggressive to Joey but Joey will not leave him alone..separate cages still but I let them out to play together. Imagine how cute the babies would look though with half normal and half dominent pied. maybe we will see in the future hey lol

Found out Joey is an Opaline yellow faced Australian dominent pied..whoo whoow..look at this other bird whos markings are exact www.budgies.org/pics/patty.html

he is a Opaline and he does appear to be a dom pied. He is a yellow face. i don't know anything about the Australian dominant pied but he sure is a cutie. Now were is bea when your not sure on this thing lol. Opaline mean he would have a v shape of color on his back. It would be of his base color i think which in your cage would be sky blue. I think you have yourself a Yf Opaline sky dominant pied. Like i said, i don't know anything about this Australian word popping in. I mean all budgies are from there so why pop it in. If so, should i consider sonic a Normal Australian sky blue. I see no difference. Its only popping in the word "Australian". Also my colouring identifying may be off some. Im not really good at this but im still leaning from my mistacks. So if anyone would like to point out where i went wrong, that would be nice.

Also are you sure joey is a male. i see white rings around his nares. I would think that would mean female. Unless you already know its a female then .

It must be the flash as he is really blue..where as Eddie my other hes a female i think lol its taken me 6 months to realise lol

The today Eddies cere is bluey still..think he still is a male actually lol
