Buying one is nice, but building one is what i've always wanted to do.

I've made them and bought them,

For my lovebirds (it says parakeet- cockatiel Size) but honestly the tiels don't fit too well on it I bought a All plastic one from pet smart, it's round and has a tether ball, teeter totter, swing, Monkey bars, and one of them horses you bounce on at a real park - I LOVE IT 1000x's better then the one we made

it's simple to clean run it under the faucet take a rag to wipe it off and dry it and bam I'm done - no wood to worry about not getting dried enouh, no corners to have to use a tooth pick to get cleaned (like the wooden one i bought when i had one bird)

The one we made, Yeah I like it, but it was made for a quaker who's just starting to sit on it - won't play on it he doesn't play at all. but it's huge, it's heavy, it doesn't fit through door ways well at all, and its a pure Pain in the rear to clean

Here is the one we made

and then the one I bought for my lovebirds

and my origonal one that is a pain in my back side to clean

You know what else is great for building those things is Tinker Toys. Nothing to glue or measure. Just stick 'em together. Some of the sets come with other stuff too.
