softie has a great idea for a foraging tray and i am thinking of just buying another playgym and using the bottom only, but how do i steralize soil?

their budgie grass came in a container with those pods that you add water too and it gets bigger and they love that so can i just buy some of them?

if i use soil is it regular dirt form my yard? and then what?

you can buy 'peat' soil from a pet shop, try to find a shop that has reptiles, but most good bird places will have it for nesting material! ;)

I'm not very sure, as I've never made a foraging tray. I don't think that dirt from the backyard would be safe? :S I'm kind of clueless on this one.
