Another Newbie

Hi everyone. I just found this site yesterday while looking for advice on how to get my budgies to like their new cage. I think I found my answer (just give them time) but I thought I'd register in case I need more budgie advice in the future. I have two male budgies named Kang and Kodos, and they are about 2 years old. They are both green and yellow; Kang is I think a clearwing and Kodos is a dominant pied.
These are my first budgies, although my husband had one as a kid. I used to be more of a cat person, but my husband suggested we give budgies a try and now I'm hooked. Our birds aren't super affectionate but they are really funny and active.

What an adorable photo of your little guy after his bath. Thank you for sharing him with us. I just love Budgie bath photos! They are so much fun and make me laugh every time. :laughing:

Yes, it is amazing what our Budgies are able to do. I get such a kick out of mine, watching them play. They are constantly doing something new and are very curious. And each one of mine have such different personalities. As far as I'm concerned, they are just like little kids. . . They even fight like brothers and sisters. Tee Hee! :D

I will be looking forward to hearing more from you in the near future and possibly seeing more fun photos. And by the way, WELCOME! I hope you enjoy the forum.

Welcome and hello. You have a cute boy. My two girls like to have water fights to see who will get in the tub first; sometimes they both end-up at the same time in the tub and I just laugh because they look so funny doing it . I will send more information my girls later. Again, welcome.
