hens vent very swollen

have been waiting for her to lay eggs and nothing yet, she has been staying in the nest bopx full time for a while now has big poops and vent looks quite swollen this morning, when do you think she will lay? she is not eggbound and quite fine when she popped out today vent has been like this for a couple of days now.....my other hen who was going in and out of nest box about the same time is on 3 eggs already also her cere isnt very brown like the others but she is a lutino (yellow) do they still get the very brown ceres or are they lighter when in condition

My lutino female raised me 21 young ones in her lifetime and she had a Tan cere from the time I got her:rolleyes: Mostlikely your hen will lay but watch out for egg binding its very dangerous *Just know how to treat it* but if she is still going to the bathroom she is not eggbound:cool:

well spoke to soon, came home this afternoon and she has laid, i knew she looked to big at the rear, this begginner is getting good lol! so excited 2 hens on eggs and baby who mum plucked him is being looked after by dad very well.....
