I was wondering this because I would like to make Petey a treat. I was going to get a stick and cover it with peanut butter, then put some of his seed on it. I know some birds can eat it, but not sure about budgies. I posted this in the budgie diet section, but I figured this would get me quicker responses.

if I remember correctly, they can, but not too much because its fattening. Make sure the oil isn't hydrogenated, its better if its not

Ok, that's what I read somewhere. That they can eat it just not too much. Thanks! I will be making Petey up a nice treat!

You could use honey intrest and set it in the fridge or back seed with egg in the oven all of which are better and cleaner then using peanut butter.
