Hi, I'm new here, and I had 3 budgies--Merry (boy), Pippin (girl), and Misty (baby). But the night before last, Merry and Pippin escaped from the house. So now it's just Misty.

i also have a dog (a boxer) named Rocky.

I am so sorry about the loss of your male and female Budgie. That has to be a terrible feeling to have had them fly out of the house, never to be found again.

Does Misty have her wings clipped? I was thinking that maybe she did, since she did not fly away, too.

I have 3 Budgies that are very young and they all have clipped wings. They had already been clipped when I bought them at the store. After hearing your story, it makes me all the more glad that my Budgies have clipped wings so that I can not lose them. I love them so much and my heart would be broken if they flew away.

How long had you had your 3 Budgies? I feel so badly for your loss. :(

I haven't had them for very long. Merry and Pippin since January, and Misty since June. (No, she does not have her wings clipped.
