yay yay! new clutch on the way!

my 2 pairs in the aviary have been in and out of boxes for 2 weeks now noticed bigger poops a few days ago and an egg today! the other girls poops also big this morning so hoping she will lay in next day or 2 as well, i thought something was up last night as they have been spending all day in boxes but coming out at night to roost but last night males were alone girls were all tucked up in the boxes. am so please i paired these 2 up special as one is a very light grey and the other is a beautiful violet male (i love that colour and it is so hard to find here) what colour will the babies come out anyone know?

I dont know how you breed for colours so have no idea i really want a violet budgie myself but in Uk where I am from I have no idea how to find one.

first off, what color is your grey? does it have silver cheek patches and a black tail or blue cheek patches & tail?

um she is a very light grey with whitish wings and face, dad is violet with whitish wings and face.... oh and another clutch on the way this time, green/yellow pied with a yellow lutino

how exciting! I cant wait tell the day I get a huge cage and a few more budgies. I would love to have a few babies to raise and keep and to be able to say I raised it parsay..lol. You will have to keep us updated and pics pics pics of the newborns when they arrive
