If you are trying to handtame these birds taming females could be harder than males.Females also bite alot harder than males this is why she is biting. Its a good thing that you clipped there wings. You are just going to have to wear gloves on your hands until you are done training them or whaterver you are doing with them...I dont really know.

Hi Missy_missy. I am sorry to hear that things with your little budgie girl aren't going as well as you'd hoped. Biting budgies are never easy to handle, and can leave the owner feeling rather helpless.

A technique that I have heard people use is to blow a quick puff of air into your budgies' face when she bites. Aim your blow at her nostrils; make sure you do this when she starts to nip.

I am wondering if your sweetie is feeling hormonal. Hormones can make a bird cranky and short tempered; it's normal and will happen regularly thoughout a healthy bird's life. Perhaps she is just needing some space.

Is she acting territorial? (For example, does she start squawking when you go near her cage or go too close to her? Does she show aggression or hostility towards your other budgie?

Hang in there Missy!

she is not aloud near the other bird yet but chirps back and forth but when i put my hand in her cage she does not like it and when im come near her she doesnt like it at all sounds like the territorial thing but why would she be doing that. also her nose has been chanong colors its white now but was a brownish colors some weeks back.

keep your hand in the cage for as long as possible (still) so that she will get used to your hand, do this for days and days (do take your hands out when you need to lol) she will or SHOULD get used to your hand being in the cage,

colour change:-
my friend gavin, his budgie Marie was said to be female, i sexed it to be female and the pet shops exed it to be male, its cere (nose you call it) then chenged colours from white to brown to blue to grey and kept changing for months and months, she is now female and has stayed that way
