budgies being dominate

Question?

If your budgie sits on your shoulder dose that mean the budgie is more dominate than you.

I read this on another site and the odd one or two memebers on that site said.

The budgie thinks he's/she's the dominate one and it is best not put them not to put them on your shoulder for a long time cos they can bite as they are higher than you.

Is that true!

hum dont know for sure...

but i dont believe it.
if they where to be dominent. they would go to the highest point aka your head.
your still bigger then them...
but in my experience..
budgies naturally feel dominant...
if you see a budgie compared with a cockatiel aswel..
its like a chiwawa attacking a bulldog :)

there just bold unlike some other laid back birds :)

nothing wrong with putting them on your shoulder if you ask me.
just let them know your the boss :)

No I don't think so, my sister's budgie does that alot.

I don't think that's true. If they want to bite they won't care where they are.
They like to be somewhere high only because they think that's the safest point for them. They don't want anything coming at them from above.
I don't think they're being dominant by sitting on your shoulder. I wish mine would do that. :p

well i think its a rumor not a fact ^^
maybe somebody has a diffrent appinion bout it...
but the thing i love about budgies..
is that there trieing to be so dominant :) the small little bold things :) (little heart here)
