i made that in about an hour and spent about 10 bucks on it by getting wood from home depot! MUCH better than buying it for 30 at the pet store :)

thanks guys! well basically i had a long saturday with nothing to do, so i drove out to home depote and bought a few wooden dowells for 1 buck each, and a piece of plywood for the base. my dad is always building things so we have lots of scrap wood laying around all the time :) basically i cut a piece of plywood for the base, cut the 2 by 2 boards the length i wanted them, and drilled them on. Then i drilled holes in the sides of the 2 by 2's so i could slide the wooden dowells right threw them! it worked out perfectly! the ladder had to be the hardest thing i made....took forever. basically just two thick wooden dowells for the sides of it, and a bunch of really thin dowells for the rungs, cut the same length. i drilled small holes in 2 inch incraments down the inside of both thick wooden dowells. a little wood glue inside the holes, set them in place, and let them dry! :) then i just screwed hooks in the end of the ladder so it would hook onto something else.

WOW how did you do that??? did you just buy the tiny wood pieces and drill holes to put through the perches??? Thats great, if this was a playground you buy at a store it's be like 4 times as much money! Maybe I'll try to do something like that sometime....
