I tried to make something to hang some veggies on for the boyos in the cage, but i'm finding it kinda hard to do.
It's hard because the roof of the cage isnt flat, and anything hanging out of it wont stay in the one place as easily as with a flat roof one... I need an idea for something that wont move around too much... or maybe something to put on the side of the cage :)
The roof's a kinda bubbley-cloud shape.. look.

I use pegs,(new ones) or those zip ties. (Like you get in the packet of garbage bags.) :)

I use these little things to clip tons of things to her cage...
I also use hair ties.
The clips work to clip everything for me:)

Can you attach one of those food or treat clips without having it slide?
I don't use the twist ties only because of the wire inside. You know how they love to chew things. That wire can be hazardous if they start to chew off the outside of the tie.
But hopefully you have plastic twist ties. :)

You could always try one of those critter kabob holders they sell for hamsters and other small pets like that. It looks like it should sit in that dip in your roof area alright. It would only work for veggies that you could spear, though. You could even add a perch to the bottom of it, providing you could drill a hole in one.

Howabout a clothes pin? There are plastic versions now. Or one of those large potato chip clips?
I use binder clips myself, but then I just happen to have a ton of them.
I used a twist tie once but no more once I saw how much Keewee chewed it up. :D

I use clothes pins , they come in handy for tons of things, the millet gets hung by them, the veggies that are able to be hung get hung by them, they help keep the doors closed on the escape artists' doors LOL
I do not suggest using the twist ties that come with trash bags, under the paper coating is metal that is toxic to birds.

You shouldn't use Twist ties because of the metal. I use those zap strap, cuttle bone clip, or also i have one of those kobabs that Goldielover is talking about. They all work fine.

I wouldn't want to use twist ties for veggies either. If you use the paper coated ones, they tend to rust after a very short while. The only thing I ever use twist ties for is to temporarily lock the cage doors with if I have to move her cage, and even then I only use the plastic coated ones, not paper, and am careful to keep the ends outside so there is very little she could chew at. For stuff like parsley which you couldn't use a critter kabob for, it might work to stuff it in one of those plastic spray millet holders. It wouldn't hold too much, though.

Aren't those things huge, though? I know the hay ball we have for the guinea pig is enormous.
