my two budgies, Cricket and Bug, are both prety new to my home. Cricket is more tame, and doesnt get nervous when i take him out of the cage, and he doesnt mind coming out by himself. But my other budgie, Bug, runs away from my hand and hates when i take her out by herself, she starts jumping off my hand if Cricket isnt sitting right next to her. Is there anything I can do to keep her from freaking out when i try to handle her? I take both of them out, give them millet, and let them sit on my hands for 15 minutes or so, then they play on their pirch on top of their cage. when i reach up to let one step onto my finger, Cricket steps right up but Bug scoots across the perch to the other side. I feel bad because I really love her and want her to be comfertable with me, yet shes really scared! Maybe its because ive only had her a week and a half, but idk. help!

after a week and a half your doing well, im sure she will be more comfortable when she knows you better. Its just consistency and patience, please don't be disheartened if she trys to fly away from you. Im sure in time she will learn to love your attention rather then be nervous around u!

After a week and a half it sounds like you're doing pretty well with her. Give her time and I'm sure she'll feel more settled and less jumpy.
