Budgies & Sun Conures

Hello everyone...Am new here and would like to put to you a question to which I do hope someone may have an answer to...I've tried looking up info on this but to no avail as yet... My question is this: I have two Budgies in a cage together (Georgie & Porgie-8 months old) and they get along fabulously...no problems there.....they are let out to fly around and explore and play and, they are hilarious!...I love them to no end!....However, I am about to inherit a Male Sun Conure (Nuggets-about 3 yrs old) who is a wonderfully good bird already and, all the necessary housing, equipment, toys, etc for him....He will be staying in his own cage, being let out as Conures love, just a I do with my Budgies..Even if they are in their own cages and the environment that they are used to, (their cages will be in the same room too) will it be a problem having the conure and my budgies, will it effect them badly in stress or other ways?? I love my budgies like crazy but I also know and love this conure as well and now he is orphaned (owner passed on) and I would love to have him, but need some advice on whether it would be good for him and my budgies....Would appreciate if anyone could assist me with this issue at their earliest convenience....Sorry for the long windedness, but wanted to give you some background....

i have a green cheeked conure, inside with whatever budgies are in at the time. plus the bourkes. i find coco (conure) prefers to have the company,and the budgies seem to egg him on with the screams! i've never ever had a problem.
i would say, as long as they are house seperatly and you give "budgie" time to keep them knowing the are still special, all should be good!

wow your in for a loud house now. Sun conures being one of the loudest conures that is. But they make up for it in beauty. Good luck and i don't think anything ill change much but i wouldn't let the budgies near the conures cause of size difference. you don't want the conure to ite of a budgie toe

Thank you so much for the info...I feel comfortable now knowing that things will be fine for all 3 birds...I realize things may be a little noisier around here now....lol... BUT the love between the three birds and me will more than make up for that....I will be getting Nuggets next week...Sorry I did not get back to you earlier with a reply. Had to go out of town on a family situation. All is well though.. Still haven't had a chance to get the photos going yet, but I surely will..

Yes, I realize the house may be louder than usual now, but the love between the 3 birds and myself will make up for it...lol Am sorry didn't respond sooner, was out of town on family matters....Thank you for your input.
