One of my budgies is imiatating me! Alot of times I am sick in the mornings. Well, this afternoon, I heard someone gagging as if he were sick. There only me at home. The birds are chirping, and making all sorts of sounds, plus, of all things, the gagging noise. Yikes.
Lol! That is so funny! Hehe!
Hope you feel better soon. :)

Okay everyone, you are making me very nervous with the stories you've been sharing about your Budgies and their sound effects! :S
Ummmmmm. . .Let's just say I'll be glad when the quarantine period is over so that I can remove my baby Budgie from the restroom!
I know, I know, it's a terrible place to keep a Budgie but we have two very high strung doggies in the house (on the main floor) and I wouldn't even think of keeping any of my Budgies down there. I have my other 3 Budgies in my office and so the only other place I would have to place my quarantined baby is either in my bedroom or the restroom. I figured the restroom would be a better choice because until Scooter gets used to the sounds and movements around her, I don't want her to become spooked and have night frights because of snoring, etc. (My husband snores, not me, ha!) Also, I knew that with my Budgie moving around in the cage, I'd probably stay awake with every sound she made. . . SO. . .the restroom it is!
I was just telling my friend the other day that the restroom may not be the safest place to keep a quarantined Budgie because of the strange noises it would hear on a frequent basis. :D Scooter already chirps when she hears running water coming from the faucet. My husband has now informed me that when he used the restroom recently, Scooter began chirping, thinking she was hearing running water - only it wasn't running water. :laughing2:
Let's just say, I hope there will be no sound effects coming from the restroom in the near future or there may be a Lutino baby Budgie for sale, really cheap! (Hehehe)
Just kidding. . .I would never get rid of my sweetie!

hahah! My grandma lives with my family and sometimes she coughs. I've been thinking lately that Kyler might start trying to imitate her. he doesn't talk, but he does try to imitate noises.
i'm not sure if i'd like it if my budgie began to make gagging noises though. hahh...

My parents have a cockateil which would mimic the sound of someone urinating into a toilet bowl. *laughs*
