Hey everyone!

My name is Betsy and I've been around the boards for a while but I've never introduced myself. I live in Texas and I'm a senior. Next year i'm going to Texas A&M at Galveston WHOOP! Haha... sry...

Anyway, I had a budgie when I was in elementary and junior high named Kiwi but she died :( after about three years. I was too busy to get another at the time so I don't have a bird at the moment. Reading the forum makes me want another bird really bad but I'll be living in the dorms for a while so it isn't really a possibility, but i'll hang around and get ideas for when I can get another bird!

Welcome Betsy! We're so glad you joined the forum, even though you don't have a budgie right now. Maybe we will be able to convince you to get one (just kidding!). They are such amazing little creatures aren't they?
