pattie's feather fell out then there was a small patch of blood is this baD OR GOOD
could od been a blood feather. As long at its not bleeding any more i would say she will be alright

Whats the reason of that blood feathers. I never saw one although I m a long time budgie owner. None of my birds had blood feather?

Blood feathers are new feathers that are growing in...the shaft is filled with blood until the feather matures in which case the shaft becomes hollow. All budgies at one time or another will have blood feathers, but not all budgies will ever experience problems with them (like having them break). I hope this explanation helps..;)
