big sites

ok when you read this i dont want it to come off rude or as if im pointing fingers..

I have not noticed it on this forum thank goodness, this is the longest i have been on a forum, when i get on the big sites and ask a question the site has become to popular and new comers asking the same question about their pet that people get fed up with it.... Like i said i have not seen it here. and this is the reason for my post i want us to stay helpfull and nice... I really dont think the being rude will happen because we have some really nice people that love to help, And i want to say thanks to everyone for doing their part to make this forum such a great place. I come to this forum at least twice a day and i Really hope we keep up the good work

I've had that problem with one forum i've been on. The other 3 (4 including this one) are all super friendly and one of these has 700+ members.:D

I agree with you missy; we haven't had any rude people here. I too hope it stays that way. For the most part, people really do want to be helpful, and besides, when advice is given, people can take it or leave it.
Thanks to everyone for being so polite and caring. We would like to keep things this way since I am sure I am correct in saying that we want to keep things here "family friendly". (Not to say we all have to agree on everything; we don't. . . nor should we.)

Thanks for the compliment missy. :) I'm glad this site has a group of nice people. I like to think of this site as one of those small "mom and pop" stores who treat each of their customers as individuals, and the big sites as those huge nation-wide chain stores who treat most of their customers the same, not individually. And like you said, I'm not bashing any other sites specifically. They all have their pros and cons, as do we.
