Remember Mavish?

well, Mavish has finally finished moulting. Sh looks a bit different now. She's has become a more active and playfull budgie now. She use never bite except some times inside her cage. Now she bites us all the time, really hard. She likes to nibble at anything and everything. It's been a few months since I have posted pictures of Mavish. This iswhat she looked like when i first got her, and when i first joined these forums.

She just had a bath, so the feathers on her head are a bit messy. :p

Great pictures!! Sometimes as birds are maturing they do go through a biting stage. Called it the terrible twos....if you like. LOL Or the moulting annoyed her, it can be painful when the feathers are growing out. Just keep telling her NO when she bites. Try to reward her for good behavior.

WOWY! Mavish sure is all grown up!! She's still a cutie though!! Try to ignore her biting as much as you can....I know it's hard because sometimes it can really hurt!

Mavish is such a cutie :) ! My parakeet peri looks just like mavish, but in girl version. Yeah, I felt so bad when Periwinkle had his molt his head looked like a porcupine :D . He let me scratch him with my finger for a couple minutes. Also, I would consider getting Mavish a chew toy, because I heard girl parakeets usually bite more then males.
