Talk Budgies Next Top Model: Season 2

Hey guys. You may remember me holding this competition last year. Well it's back again and it is going to be bigger and better than ever. Last season, it was won by Babyluv12 and her budgie Bella. Who will win this time? With more member and prettier budgies it is going to be tough to take out the title.

You may enter a maximum of two birds. They don't have to be alive; birds who have passed on are also accpeted. Please only post one picture of each budgie. The competition entries close on the 20th of June (my birthday). The top 5 chosen by me will go through to the next round where the members of talk budgies will vote for their favourite.

Just to show you how popular this contest is, 57 budgies were entered in the last season!

unfortunately the only decent photo i have of Kiko is the one where he's in with Kiki (back when she was just a little baby :P) i've always thought he was gorgeous but Kiki is cute^^ So... i'll enter them both :) and my little angel :) well i was going to put Angel in until i saw you can only post 2 budgies *mumbles*

I know what you mean, i only got one budgie but i was going to add little Angel in there because she looks exactly like Kiko except she was a girl.. but i couldnt..

Do what i do when i gotta pick, close your eyes and point to one :P or put all their names in a hat and pick 2 out...

ugly budgie? Im sorry but i have seen ONE ugly budgie at the pet shop before he was a DARK olive green with a yellow head..sounds cute but it was ugly haha BUT he had a GREAT personality!! i would of got him for that in a heart beat!

So far 47 budgies have entered! Last year was in the low 50's I believe. But last year you could posts as many budgies as you liked and some people posted whole avairies! This year you can only post 2 budgies so we are doing REALLY well! And we still have a week to go!

I LOVE the idea! Seeing as this competition is just about the most popular on the forums, it could work! I shall definately do that next time round. I'll choose a final 12 budgies and each week, one will get eliminated! Karma for you!!!!

Two days to go, well for me as we are one day in front in Australia. But I will release my top 5 when its June 20th in America :)

I have a top 5 in mind, although it is no where final. I shall wait until entries close on June 20th before judging each budgie individually and perhaps getting family, friends and members on the forum who haven't entered to help me judge. But of course I shall have the final decision.

JUDGING PROCESS:

This shall tell you how we shall judge the contestants.

All judges shall go through the whole thread and choose their 7 favourite budgies. They post their (or tell their-if its a family member/friend ) finalists to Budgietom who then tallies it on a table which has all the contestants on it.

The seven budgies with the most tally marks will be chosen as finalists for the next round. If two budgies have the same number of tally marks then Budgietom- the head judge- will make the decision as to which budgie goes through.

The final decision is made by Budgietom if anything comes up.

This is how judging will work.

THERE ARE 12 JUDGES IN ALL. 7 ARE FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND THE REMAINING 5 ARE MEMBERS OF TALK BUDGIES WHO HAVE NOT ENTERED THIS COMPETITION.
