Messy

Some of mybudgies reallylike to eat fruit and they always get messy faces and heads. I can usually remove the largepieces but they always seem to have messy feathers at the end. Can you help?

I too have this issue with my budgies, especially Skyla who likes to take baths in her carrots!! There really isn't much you can do since they can be quite messy as you already know. You can offer them water to bathe in and hopefully they will take the opportunity to use the "bathtub" to at least semi-clean themselves. Anyone have tricks to keeping your budgies super clean?? :rolleyes:

I have the same problem, at the mo Chrissie is in a right mess! She has rubbed her face all over her iodine block and now she looks as though she is wearing blush! Lol. ;)

I always have that issue with my budgies too. Bobby likes to rub his head on thier pink mineral block and then preen through blue. Its really funny because blue will have pink highlights through his feathers and bobby has a full pink face. They bathe and stuff, but you really cant do anything about it until new feathers grow in :D
