Here are some pictures of Pepi. Sorry for some of the poor image quality- I took most of them on my cell phone.

Aw, thanks :) His bottom feathers were a little wet when I took that one and the last one- he decided to sit in his water dish :o lol.

OMG!! I absolutely love his colouring! What an adorable little budgie you have there! My favourite picture is the one where Pepito is perched on the swing with his/her head cocked as if to check out what you were doing with your camera...very cute! :D

I know, his coloring is what drove me to get him. No one around my area sells keets (small towns are evil that way ;P) so I had to drive 45 minutes just to find a store that carried them, and when I got there, of course it was a 'bin o' budgies.' He definitely stood out from the flock. They had the traditional colors there, some brighter yellows, but I knew he was it. My mom was eyeing up a white one that looked pretty too, but I knew Pepi was my bird. :D They said he was 'fancy' (Ooo, lol). Well worth the extra $5 they charged me, haha.

Thanks :) I can't wait until his bigger cage gets here on Tuesday- I know he's gonna love it. He's a crazy little bird that -loves- to play! He skitters around and messes with his toys aaaall the time, so much that I know an added 2 and a half cubic feet of space and a lot more toys is going to make him ecstatic.

well make sure you get rid of those plastic pearch once the new cage arrives. there not to great on the feet. Also try and get natural pearch and maybe a rope pearch . They seem to like to chew them.

Yep, I'm already on it. >:} I bought him a new wooden swing, 2 wooden perches and a new rope one too. I'm going a little crazy with the bird shopping :o lol. I can't help it, it's so much fun.

I know what ya mean about going crazy for budgie stuff! My budgies are horribly spoiled! It's not unusual for me to place a $100 order from an online budgie toy site, or to pick up the new toys I see in our local pet shops! Nothing is too good for my little sweeties, that's what I say!! :D

Haha, exactly :) I've only had Pepi since Tuesday and already I've spent $150 on him! :o Mostly through the internet, since we don't have any local pet stores that carry budgie stuff... aside from like, Wal-mart, which has a very extensive selection (sarcasm ;P). The pet store that we used to have in town closed a year or two ago. They weren't clean though, I wouldn't have bought anything from them.

Woo! So I'm not completely off, because that's what I thought he was too :)

I would LOVE to breed him, honestly, but I don't think my mother would approve. Eventually, we are going to get him a buddy, though... perhaps I could 'accidently' get a female instead of a male, since she can't tell the difference... >:} Muahahaha.

Noooo you can't have my baby! :o lol. If I do breed him, I'll probably end up mixing him with an albino or another recessive pied. I LOVE recessive pieds, they're my favorite.

I think he's around 2-3 months. The workers at the Pet Shop weren't quite sure, but he hasn't been through his first moult yet so. It's so much harder to tell age with recessive pieds, I read somewhere that their eyes don't really develop the ring around them and their ceres might never turn blue. *shrugs*
