my budgie jake passed away.he was scared to death by my cat.i was only inside for about 30 seconds and when i got back out he was dead.

Poor budgie. Nasty cat. I know it wasn't the cats' fault, they are what they are...cats. Sorry for your loss.

oooh i am soooo sorry!!! my uncle and aunt had a keet but the dog thought it was playing with it and then it put its paw over it and smushed her....now they have a rainbow keet!! :o

PS- they didnt actually let the dog play with it, it got out of its cage and went under the door to where the dogs were :(

Yeah some animals just don't know how to react they are those kind of animals...The cats instincts were to Hunt if it seen the budgie that why he/she probably pounced at the cage and gave the budgie a Heart Attack:oThe dogs had the instinct to play:) Sorry to hear about that:(

he died of shock.i have a younger budgie called billy and i might be getting a small parrot plus i have disowned the cat.(haha)

I feel so bad for you. It's one thing to lose a pet to death, but to lose it to another pet is even worse. What a terrible thing.

I don't look forward to the day when any of my Budgies die. I love them so much and although we know they don't live forever, we still can't be prepared to lose them. It's never easy. :(
