Hiya! When I went on my vacation in Niagara, my house got really (I mean REALLY) overgrown. There were bees everywhere because of the mint flowers. There were also Giant Foxtail scattered around, bunching in HUGE groups. I was thinking, can I feed my budgie those Giant Foxtail seeds? It has two advantages. 1.) I can save moola!! 2.) It would help get rid of the overgrownness.... Here's a link so you know what it looks like.

Personnaly I would not feed them to your birds, as it states on that page that they are noxious, and also they have poisonous hairs on them, most other grass seeds are fine though

 Eepers! Thanks! My mom just sent me the link about it for the picture. I'll keep that in mind... I was too busy working on my reports for summer (don't ask) to have time to read the page. Hopefully, they'll get finished and I'll stop having only 2 minute breaks. Oh well...Thanks for telling me!

yeah, im not really sure if by noxious, they mean poisonous or just an annoying weed as foxtails tend to be. but i have never read of foxtails being poisonous or anything and have always assumed that it was similiar to other millet varieties. better safe than sorry i suppose, though i will say that in past years, i have offered a little here and there without any ill affects. that said, i don't anymore as i believe that the spray millets in stores are fairly cheap as it is. millet is junk food, dont feed too much of it; it should last you a decent amount of time if you only have one budgie.
