Another new toy for the birds

I picked the Plant holder up at the Dollar Tree and added everything else

I also got the wooden clothes pins and wiffle balls at the Dollar Tree

and we moved the blue Net toy over by the window instead of the middle of the room (we kept running into it lol)

thank you, she played on it for a good 20 mins before going to the other toy that we just Moved but it was in a new place so she had to investigate it as well LOL

I didn't plan on buying birdy toys while i was at the dollar Tree i went to pick up Paper plates, napkins, table cloth and styrofoam cups for my sons b/day party today and some Printer paper

but my b/f found that while walking around then he found the wiffle balls which we've been searching for for a few months So we got it - i never did get my printer paper there though had to get it at walmart lol

Great Idea... I used one of those for a nest for my dove... I had a soft bowl shaped bag (my sister made it to hold my yarn when knitting) and I put it in there with some dry grass, etc and they love it...

I have absoutly no creativity what so ever , my b/f and I were walking through The dollar tree and he found the planter and said bet we could make a toy with this and put it in my buggy, I got home sat in the birds room with it, string, beads, balls, clothes pins and just started tying stuff up , and came up with that :D

If I can do (some one who can't even draw a straight line using a ruler LOL) - any one can do it :D

Is the basket the one with the plastic coating on in? be careful if it is they dont chew thru to the metal, as i'm sure its not bird safe metal

I don't think it's plastic coating it feels just like the cage bars of the cages

but they haven't chewed on the actual basket part (as of yet but if they do I'll be sure to check it and if any thing flakes off it'll come down) they just sit on it and play with the stuff hanging off


The babies like to sit in the basket part and "hide" from us when we are in putting them to bed we spent one night searching for 3 of them for a good 20 mins. then I happened to look up and they were all sitting in the inside of it cocking thier heads back and forth LOL I think they were thinking "haha they'll never find us up here"

Do you have a Dollar Tree there? that's where i got mine from.
