Both are over 1yr , healthy and male and female ( of course ) but i have had a nest box in there cage for 2 months now and nothing has happened :( they are bonded , any advice?

well my pair took a little over 3 months to bond and breed. i guess that it really lies in the preference of the budgies. iv'e heard of budgie bonding in a matter of days so they really are all different. just give it a bit of time, if there is no reason that the budgies can't breed (perhaps one is infertile) then they should breed and bond when the time is right :D

how long did you have the nestbox in the cage?

does the hen go inside the nestbox? are you sure that they are bunded and are male and femail if you do know why? are they in breeding condition?

they are both male and female :P , bonded and she does sometimes go in there, atm she isn't in cond.

what size cage are they in. Is the box in now? if yes, remove and wait for her next cycle.

i agree wait for her next cycle you dont want weak babys or egg binding to happen.

The reason i asked about the cage size, if its too large with toys to distract them, they wont get down to business. You want a smaller sized cage with the box attached and just the pair to really focus on each other.

There cage is just big enough for 2 budgies :o
