What mutation is Mattie?

Morning all,

Over the weekend I got Mattimeo, a twisted-legged budgie whom I am rehabilitating. Here's a closeup of his foot:

What would you call him? Type II? Or would you call him, him, or her?

Good news is, notice how his bad foot now has 3 toes in front/1 in back. Much better than all 4 in front! :-)

Dunno much bout mutations but i'd say he's a normal dark green? Definatly a male though.

100% Sure Male Yellow Faced Type 2 Sky Blue Normal:D I used to have the same budgie...he flew away though:mad: Beautiful Beautiful Mutation!

yeah, what joey said sounds about right. i can never remember which is type 1 and type 2 but im sure joey knows what he is talking about. haha. lovely budgie and nice of you to not care that he has a deformity :)

Type one Yellow Face only has the yellow face....This is a young yellow faced type one the yellow doesn't show in the wings see only the face,and yellow face type one doesn't give the body that green look sometimes.

Than Yellow Faced type 2 is what Mattimeo is see the aqua green and greenish tinge in his feathers yellow face type two affects the wing pattern yellow...and gives the body the greenish tinge along with the yellow face...so Jay Jay remember

Affects one thing the face:)
Yellow Faced Type Two:
Affects 2 things the face and the wings:)
