Macadamia and Ozzie (2nd clutch!!!:-))

Well Macadamia and Ozzie are now in for there 2nd clutch......
Here a pict of the colours our first clutch had.

In the first clutch there were 5 eggs with 3 born. Cookie(youngest) died at 6days old............................................... .....................sorry just reflecting.:). So 2 out of 5 was good for first suceesfull clutch. I'm hoping for an egg withing a week and a half. The stayed bonded through the rest peroid. Mac is in breeding condition and she layed a egg (infertile) that smashed on the floor 1 wk or so ago. Just a one of thing.
Anyway enough with my boring talk......Picture!!!!!

well its been 5 days and we have an egg!!!!!!! Yay!!!!
I'm not expecting it to be fertile because they would of had to be mating in the avairy wich i know they didnt.....
cant wait to see how many she has!

Its funny cause you guys always say in you journouls that your birds lay at night or early morning. Well my baby always lays around lunchtime???

well i doubt that egg1 will hatch as it hasent yet and it 4pm.
i didnt candle them no because i forgot to mark them and if i do it know im scard since there so close to hatching ill break them!! lol.....

i dont think you should be breeding. it appears that your male has scaley face mites. i notice everything and in that pics his beak is crusted over.

I have two males that are comming along in age both still don't have their fly feathers fully grown.I think a good sign of maturity is when they get their flight feathers like the hens I have who are all fully grown. I plan to mate both cocks with my hens who are all seperated.I can't tell the age of the cocks yet but will wait till they get their flight feathers.:budgie::o

I am so sorry. Chicks 3 and 4 have died of nemonia.I now have 2 left inside. Chick 4 died of nemonia and i had chick 4 hanging on to life before he died and hour later. We gave him honey and oats with water in a sryinge but he ended up dieing:(

yes there are 2 the oldest and 2nd. The oldest is fine but the 2nd i gave to a friend is still hanging on. 50 50 chance for him as his legs arent working

i notice that my pairs are starting to mate.I seperated two pairs for three months and then put them pairedf up last week.The normal and pied olive greens are mating but am not saure of my albino and olive green normal hen.I will try to have pictures soon
