Introducint new food

Hi, I'm trying to introduce new food to Bert and Ernie. So far, not sucessful They like their seeds. I tried to put the new food in their play gym. Instead, Bert will eat his droppings. What can I do to encourage them to eat new food. Or, are they yet too young? Both are about under 7 months old. Thanks.

Well, I think Bert likes his poop more than your food! Lol. Not to worry.

Mix the new and old food together and see how they like it, if they like it put more of the new food and less of the old.. gradually feeding only the new. If it doesn't work, try the method again soon.

THats what I did. I just mixed it in and slowl weened him from it and now he doesnt even know theres no seeds or cares. I would try just weening him.

what are you trying to introduce? new seed or pellets?
