Hi everyone. As my profile says I own 6 budgies in my avairy. I came across this site whilst looking up some info on budgie courting. One of my birds Mango recently lost his partner Chewy and has been really depressed - like refusing to eat. I took him inside and gave him some vitamins which has improved his health but he hasn't been attracted to any other females and I'm afraid he'll get depressed again. Next weekend I'm taking him to a bird breeders where he'll spend a week in an avairy with about 8 females so he can choose. Wish him luck on his 'speed dating' :o

Hey Joey.
I have to admit I'm not that great at naming mutations and colours in budgies.
Well, Mango is the yellow bird in my avatar. Cody is an olive colour, Charlie is white with a light blue chest, Misty is yellow with a dark blue chest, Ferdinand is grey, and Tingle is yellow green and blue. No idea of the proper terms to describe them. They're beautiful though!! :)

You have beautiful budgies...your green male "Tingle" looks to be a Green Opaline but not sure until I see the wings could be normal...Your misty is such a beauty she looks like some kind of Spangle Pied do not know why she is yellow...!Awsome colors where did you fnd such precious little gusy and gals?:rolleyes:

Hi Tracey! Welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear about Chewy....but I do wish Mango luck with his speed dating expedition. Hopefully he will find the budgie of his dreams! ;)
