View Full Version : Tsuki... Orginal Post Date... 8.12.06
(Orginal post date 8.12.06) Tsuki died less than 5 minutes ago in my hand. I call a few places and they all told me the same thing it is some kind of birth defect when it comes to the runt. I went threw this same thing with Cricket. He was doing so good than BAM! He got sick and just faded away like Tsuki... I don't know if I want to do this anymore. I hate to watch things die... And it sucks even more because I tried so hard to keep him alive... And now my little Tsuki is gone.... :upset: :crying2: :ohno:

OMG, did I miss something?? Tsuki died?? I am so sorry....I too can't stand the thought of things dying. I have to remember to remind myself of all the joy they bring when they are with us....and who better to have handled the situation than someone so caring like yourself...:(

Good luck with the hand feeding, Joey. It can be daunting task. Just make sure not to over feed as this can cause a condition called crop stasis. The crop is too full for them to digest the food and it gets sour and goes bad and bacteria forms, and..........well....you know. Just keep them comfortably full a few times per day. It doesn't have to (and shouldn't be) full all the time.
