Sky & Violet Round 2

So all of Sky and Violets babies from thier 1st clutch are over a month old and moved out of mommy & daddies house and on thier own, they fly all around and eat on thier own and growing very quickly

Well to our surprise they didn't waste any time making babies again :p

they've got 2 eggs as of today
Thier 1st egg was Laid on March 25,2008
Thier 2nd egg was Laid on March 27,2008

And just for an update (for the new commers) here is a picture of the proud parents

Sky is Normal Sky blue (but found out through the 1st clutch he's Split to Yellow Face, Opaline and Cinnoman) and Violet Is a Normal Violet (split to yellow face)

as of today (march 29 2008) they have 3 eggs, I'll try to get a picture this evening

Wow they are so cute!!! Did you have to take the babies from her last clutch out when the new clutch arrived?

no her babies from the 1st clutch were already over a month old (almost 2 months old) before she had her 2nd clutch, they all were out flying around eating on thier own, and in thier own cage when each one hit a month old.

Here's the babies, 6th egg hasn't hatched yet it should of yesterday, but she had a couple hatch on different days than i had fiqured out So i'll give it a few more days

well this evening after putting the birds to bed, we cleaned out violet and Sky's nest box and put some bands on the babies that were ready and I got a little group shot of them chilling on my carpet waiting to be put back to bed :)

I didn't hand feed them, they're parent raised

Yea i always told them they were silly for standing on each others heads - when they were still in the nest box I'd lift the lid to check on them and There was always at least one having their lil head smooshed

but they like it that way - lol
