Before I learned about mites and how they affect budgies, I bought lovely colored birds from the market. They had scaly ceres but I thought they were just old birds. I put them in quarantine for 3 weeks. They looked fine, so I introduced them to my other birds. (I have a 10m x 10m cage which has 40 healthy birds) now that I know better, I'm sure they will infect my birds, and I am looking for a fast, reliable, and harmful way to treat these birds and to prevent the others from getting it, specially now that its breeding season and some already have babies.. Any suggestions?

I totally got that it was a typo..my mind still read what you meant.;) I have heard that the best thing to get rid of mites is treatments of ivermectin that you would get from your vet.

Ivermectin is what you'd use to treat existing cases. Good diet and good hygiene is what you'd do to prevent it. In your case, if you are certain you have infected birds you'll most likely need to treat them all.

I know that in Southeast Asia, as in other countries Ivermectin can be bought in any local animal feed store. So be careful when you use that stuff... the dosing is really precise. I think the rule of thumb is one drop for a 30 gram bird. Dont quote me on that tho.. im just guessing... It can kill a budgie if your not careful.

Did I not understand right? The orginal posts said that her new birds do have mites and she took them out of quarantine too early and put them in with her existing birds and now she's concerned they might also get infected? If so she would need to treat the new birds who do have mites.

Ok… I have found Ivermectin. And just like Scuba said, buying it was almost like taking a candy from a baby, only easier 
The problem is… the vet I went to thought the bird was old and that’s why he had the scaly face. I told her that it could be mites. She said no way !!!
Well.. I didn’t like that and I told her to look under the microscope. Unfortunately, there was mites. Well.. she said sorry but I only specialize in cats and dogs !!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I got so mad and went to buy Ivermectin from the pet shop next door.
The problem is I don’t know the proper way to administrate it. The company's site doesn’t say anything. I read somewhere its 1 drop under each wing. I also read it should be diluted and put in water. And I read it should be injected in the birds.
Any one knows how ????

If you are considering administering ivermectin yourself, be very careful as you could easily kill a bird. You MUST use ivermectin 0.1% for birds, and you place one drop behind the neck on the skin. You could also administer it below the lower mandible on the neck I think it is called (the lower beak) All your birds will need to be treated. I recommend that you allow an avian vet take care of this for you instead of taking the risk.

Is it sold like that or should i dilute it ?

That's the dilution rate 0.1%. It says so on the bottle. There are different strengths you can purchase depending on the animal you are buying for.
