I've found a mix that my bird really enjoys.

Its 1 hardboiled egg (20mins) broccalli,carrot and green beans put through a food proccesor.

My question is, how often is it ok to feed this to him?

The veggies are fine, but the eggs have to be fed to them only twice a week... I think its related to the fat content. I'll try that in my blender next week!! :)

That's weird! But the veggies are good like same as humans! We should eat veggies same as birds! The egg also like us can be fattening avoid it as a everyday meal, if your bird likes it, it would make a great treat if he does something good or does what you command!

There are a lot of bird products on the market that contian egg but they are treats for your bird or for females when they are producing eggs. So egg in the diet is ok but only as a treat.:D

i keep a supply of egg and biscuit in my budgie cage on a daily basis. u said we should only give them egg 2 times a week. would that also apply for egg n bicuit.. woops..
