So people that want play gyms and dont have any, dont go out and buy one, you can make one! What I did was i found a wicker basket preferably shaped like a base to use as the base of my "bird tree" this adds decor. Cut branches or get a mini tree and find bricks, and heavy rocks and little stones. Fill the basket with the bricks and rocks. Then put the branches through the cracks and fill the rest of the space with the pebbles. You can put in kitty grass and hang toys on the branches. This cost me nothing because i had a wicker basket in the garage so you can do it no matter how much money you dont want to spend! Here is mine... Also that is what the base looks like

That's really cool, even I could make one of them! Anyone got any advice on the best place to get safe branches or what sort of small tree I could buy in a pot for this purpose?

I use dead apple tree branches and i dont strip the bark because they do that. I have also heard of eucalyptus...

Thanks for bringing this to light! Is it hard to clean the basket after they poo on it?
