Got Paulie's Wings Clipped Today

i got paulie's wings clipped today and one side is a little long and the other side is short will this affect his flying when he gets his feathers back

They clip one side shorter to throw off his flight so that when his feathers start growing to the point that he can fly, if he trys to fly through an open door to his freedom, he'll veer off to the side and not be able to escape.

but my female got all first ten of her orimary flight feathers cut

Well then, I don't know why they'd do it different. Maybe someone else knows...
