EASTER BUDGIE PHOTO CONTEST

Open to all members! Have fun with this new photo contest! Get creative! All you have to do is submit a photo of your Budgie with an Easter related theme. Its easy! Just submit your photo right here in this thread. After the submission deadline ends members will vote for their favorite photo in a poll. The winner will receive 100 Karma points, a special winner logo designed by Hinamori that you may use in your signature, and bragging rights!

We are accepting submissions now!


CONTEST RULES:

1 entry per member
Must have an Easter related theme
Must be a photo of your own Budgie

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Submissions begin today March 6th and end on March 12th

VOTING RULES:

You may not vote for your own photo
1 vote per member

Voting by poll will begin March 12th and end on March 19th

Winner will be announced on March 20th!

I was also going to say you could draw or digitaly make budgies for your picture too! Or somehow disguise your tiel as a budgie....

There are several free digital editing things out there you should be able to find some by searching the internet. Otherwise I thought most PC's come with Paint...it is under Accessories.....

I wouldn't think so the rule says it must be your budgies it doesn't say anything about being just budgies. Yours just has an added bonus. I think Kiki is just cute.

Digitaly making or drawing a Budgie would be making your own creation, but it wouldn't be a "real" bird that you actually own or have owned at one time. What we're looking for in this contest are actual Budgie photos of Budgies you own not ones you create in a program. Though you may use a program to enhance your photo to help with the Easter theme. Other birds are not allowed because its an Easter Budgie contest.

I hope that makes things clearer for everyone.:)

Yes, the rules state that is must be your budgie but NOWHERE in the rules does it state that you can't include your other birds or pets in the pictures. So I'd say Kiki should of been okay in lilifields entry.
The rule of no other birds being allowed wasn't until after this. It was not in the original rules

The "other" bird rule wasn't mentioned in the orginal rules because I thought since this is a Budgie forum and the contest was titled.. Easter Budgie, and the rules only mentioned Budgies that it would be understood that this was a contest for Budgies.:)

Maybe in the future we can have a contest for our Budgies and other birds together or just our other birds, but this one is just for Budgies present or past.

I don't know if you guys noticed, but there is a sticky in this forum for contest ideas. If you guys have ideas for future contests please post them there:)

I hope we can get this contest back on track. Its supposed to be fun and It is just a contest there's no need to snipe at each other. If someone has a question about the rules just ask don't argue with each other over them.
