It sure looks like he has mites. Please take him to a vet ASAP.

Yes please get him to the vet! Its a pretty bad case. You should have your other Budgie looked at and treated as well.

Ouch, that's definately scaly face, even if you don't have an avian vet nearby most normal vets will know how to treat this it's very common and very easy to fix. That's good advice from pippin's mom to check the others and treat them too, You also need to sanitise their cages and toys

Wow that is scaly face alright. I would rush him to the vet ASAP. It is usually treated with Ivermectin. Please let us know how it goes. xxxxx

I am happy to hear they were both treated for scaly face! I'd love to see new photos of them once they have recovered!
