Cookie trying to cuddle into my jean. He seem to do that a lot when he was younger. He is fearless and will pretty much junm on everyone he knows. Now mind me if he don't know you i wouldn't go near him. He will run or growl at you. And i mean growl. Over all he is a blast to have around. He listens to the budgies and don't seem to mind them if they go near his cage. now i don't let them get to close just cause he can take off one of there little toes

no not at all!Well maybe the bedding if they werent litter trained but,my rabbit is litter trained he cost me about 25-30.00 CAD a month. That includes:
Litter
Food
Treats
Toys
Vitamins
Thats really all they need!

Joey you crack me up. I mean yes they are easy to keep and if you do the bedding thing right which i haven't its all easy. Ill fixmy mistack and give him a potty but i spend way more then that. I mean how can i not. He is a spoiled little bunny.
Food= $15 for a 6 lb bag and &7 for a 3.5 bag. I usually buy that in food but it goes into 2 month. May be less may be more but we havn't figured him out yet as he keep eating differently cause he was growning.
Toys= Well i turly havn't found any toys so if you count those ball that give kitty toy then i give it maby $5 for a bunch. Although you must watch them with those ball as they can inhale them if they chew them to much. !th thing broken off and there removed.
Litter : for a 50 liter bag is $27.99 For a compact bag. THe stuff we use is biodegradable so i like it. you can also but the smaller bage for about $15
Treats and Vitamins : hard one for m there. I bought cookie 1 treat that cost almost $5 . it had food and hay with other healty stuff added in. In a bowl he could shred. We got a discout on vitamins. Reg $5.99 and we got it for $3. His chew stick (not actually stick) is $3.99 a bag which lasts about a month.

Now if you really want to spoil you bunny i would say a good $50 a month could and would do it. Now mind me some of the treat i buy are for her and the budgies and thay all love carrots. i don't think i've heard of a bunny who don't but i don't feed them to often.

CAD means *Canadian dollars* Um I have no idea where you live but I pay .60 cents a lb for food and my rabbit is full grown and eats a handful of food a day plus treats and veggies.
Food 5 pounds: $3.75 a month!
Treats: $2.99 a month plus alfalfa $2.50 a bale a month.
Toys: $5.99 bell and wood chews on metal string and $2.00 rubber ball
Litter: $3.49 each $10.47 a month I need about 3 bags per month
Vitamins $2.99 whole year!

I suggest you find some different stores to buy your rabbit supplies because that is way to much!:) Rabbits are very very easy pets to keep and are great pets to have.So it cost me around 30.00 not every month about 25.00 every month because of toys when they break I buy new ones. You should really find a different supplier!50.00 could save you a vet bill near my area I dont know about yours...:)

Well i don't buy his food in bluk. i can get it cheeper but i try and but the best food possible. For toys he has chew block and im looking into a hanging toy. Do you know if this budgie toy im about to descrive is safe.
The bottom has a copper bell which i will take off. then it has some sort of rope which i might take off. THen a small rawhide bone. Might also have to be taken off then it had like acrlic thing. and wooded chews. Think that would be ok for him

Um I have a toy its a long metal wie srung with 4 vegetable flavored chews a plastic rabbit head at the top and a small stainless steel bell at the bottom. The rope is defantely no I have seen a rabbit eat a towel and dye because the wieght in its stomach turned his stomach over. The rope would do teh same...he could also strangle himself.Maybe teh rawhide bone im not sure if they could eat rawhide. But the wood chews would be ok....try giving him and untreated peice of an apple tree branch mine loves it!He chewed it to shreds.:)

You should see it when i play rough with him. i tap his ears and he will go after me. i keep doing it untill he gets bored. He know after im don't playing he gotta stop so he don't hurt anyone. Silly thing has also started to growl to show that he dosn't like what happing. LIke when i change his cage. He was just sitting there looking at me and growling. poor thing hates change

Ooooh, you guys, stop!! I have wanted a rabbit for soooo long, but I never have room, or time, for another pet!:( Just out of curiosity, though, is it a lot of upkeep taking care of a rabbit? Are they hard to tame and train?

THere not at all hard to train. the hardest thing is potty training. it take time but you can slowy teach there where to pee. We had him out today for about 2 hours and he didn't pee till he was in his cage. He also goes back in his cage by himself when he is ready. You need to get themw hen there young to teach them not to bit and how to behave. Also i don't care what anyone says there is no such thing as a bunny proofed room. They will find the smalled dent in your hard wood flooring and try to chew it. aswell as the wall. We put a new window in my room and we tore a bit of the jet rock paper on the wall and he is trying to tear it all off. Although that is a fwe problems there can be more. Your realy don't want them sleeping in the same roomas you because there awake during the night. We find it hard at times to a point they we can't sleep. He wants out of his cage and he will let you know it. Other then that is it a blast. He love running around and he kicks his feet when he jumps and he is a blast to watch. he will come up from you and eat blue berries and other thing like that. now mind me blue berries and carrots and veggies should be feed daily but you need to give them a change daily or they become bored of that veggie. i give carrots once a week and we just started blue berries today. Cages are the hard things about bunnies. They need decent size cages for those time your at work or school. my cookie is in a small cage right now that should only be used as a travel cage. Were selling our pool and getting him the cage he deserves. You truly should have a porry in the rabbits cage cause its hard the way i do his cage. im using this almost like carbord beddignt hat come from paper plants that isn't usuable there but its works for bedding. He pess and sutff like that in 1 corner and the pee is the main thing that need to be change cause if you let it stand there to long it smells. MM i don't know what more to say. OH yeah both male and female make good pets. i don't see much of a difference.
