Good morning and hello to all. Our names are cliff and sue. We adopted our
JoJo from our granddaughter about 5 years ago and fell in love with her. We are semi retired and enjoy our budgies. We purchased a male budgie name bobo about 4 years ago for a companion to jojo. Needless she wasn't to happy about
sharing her cage with anybody. bobo recently passed away:( so now jojo is in her glory. We have learned allot from visiting the budgie forums and are glad to join this one. A couple of pic below of our jojo.

Hello Cliff and Sue,
Welcome to the family of Budgie lovers! I just joined the forum myself about 3 days ago and am truly enjoying it. I think it's great there is a web site available where people can come together from all over and share their excitement and concerns.
Your JOJO looks like one sweet birdie. Have you always been able to kiss her and have her stand so still? I am looking forward to the day that I can do that. I have only had my Budgies for a couple of months now and it is encouraging to see progress being made when it comes to taming them.
It appears that JOJO loves taking baths too. Wow, how long did it take you to get her to do that? I put a shallow dish (like a goblet) with a little water in it and my Budgie named "Beaker" got in it about 10 times in a row. It was cute watching him do that. The only thing is, he has never done it since. So for now, I just mist my birds on a daily basis and they are happy with that.
Your play gym looks so cool. Did you make that yourself? It must be a "Budgie Haven" and a dream come true. What a blessed little girl JOJO is, to have such a neat play area.
Keep those photos coming. And thanks for sharing!
Your Budgie Friends,
Donna, Beaker, and Niblet ;)

Beaker and niblet are awesome looking together.!!
Have you always been able to kiss her and have her stand so still? It took a while she just started doing it to my wife and I. I talk to her allot and spend allot of time with her playing and as soon as I get home from work she starts talking, saying pretty bird and ready to play.
It appears that JOJO loves taking baths too. Wow, how long did it take you to get her to do that? My granddaughter had her for about a year and didn't spend much time with her, no mirrors or no bath and basically she was neglected. When we took her things just started to click. Filled the little bath tub and she just jumped in. Lucky I guess.
Your play gym looks so cool. Did you make that yourself? That's about the fourth gym we have made. When we had both of them they played with everything. bobo was more of an explorer than jojo but she plays with most of the toys. We were thinking of getting another budgies but jojo seems very happy to have it all to herself. She now doesn't have to share it or us with bobo anymore. Too bad because he was a sweet active bird.
Alyssa your albino is gorgeous !!~
Dusty is no longer with us he lived about 13 years, he was a siberian husky, gone
but never forgotten, he will always be with us.
Hi Cliff and Sue. Wow, what a set up! Jojos' a well cared for, little budgie, it's easy to tell! I'm Anna Belle, and I have Nana (yellow hen), Pico (blue cock), and Pippin' (their baby who, we think, is a boy). I have their pictures on here somewhere, but don't ask me how to see 'em because I can barely use a computer.. my son posted their pictures, somewhere, for me:o.
Anyway, welcome to the forums! I really enjoy it here and I'm sure you will too. Everybody is so supportive of each other. I like that, and I've learned so much..
I'm sorry about little Bobo and your precious Dusty!:( RIP sweethearts! We've lost family pets over the years (one recently), and I know the heartbreak it can bring, but we wouldn't do without the experience of having had them in our lives, would we?:embarrassed:
Again, welcome!!:D
