What colours???

I was just wondering what colours my grandma and grandpa's budgies are. Billie is the darker blue, and Chico is the lighter blue. I've just had a look on the threads and I'm guessing (I'm probably wrong) that Chico is a spangle, and Billie's a normal blue. I know the pictures aren't very good, but they're just off my phone, and Bill and Chico don't make a habit of standing still. They don't like my phone either, unlike Jo who just tries to eat it. I will try to get more photos!

I can have a guess at their mutations for you... but I might be wrong. So it would be better to get the opinion of others as well. :)

I think you're right, Billie looks like a normal sky blue and Chico looks like maybe a mauve spangle.

Billie is a normal sky blue. I think Chico is a violet factor cobalt spangle. A mauve looks almost grey. That's my guess.

Cool, thanks! They are gorgeous, aren't they? When my grandma and grandpa go on holiday, we get to look after them, which is great!

Actually, Chico is a mauve Greywing. Ive been breeding greywings and albinos for 3+ years. I recognized his mutation immediatly. Billie is a normal sky blue.
