 Hi,
I am making a giant jungle gym for my birds and I was wondering if there was particular glues recommended to use that are non-toxic to glue branches together??? THX:confused:
I've never built a gym myself, but I'm pretty sure any non-toxic glue would be best. Don't use super glue though. Perhaps you local bird store sells glue? If so, but that glue so you know it's bird-safe.
Just keep in mind that budgies love to chew. So keep this in mind with the glue. (Try to hide as much of it between the wood pieces as possible.) Also try to get natural, untreated wood. Because you budgies will chew on the wood, that's what they do in the wild. So keep these things in mind while building your gym. :)

Kiko and Kina are also my birds, and we go out to a park and find fallen branches for them to chew on. All natural! :D
I'd stick with a non-toxic childrens craft glue. :) Like Dave said, try to hide most of the glue cause you really don't want Kiko and Kina getting to it even if it is non-toxic.
I would reccomend PVA glue because its made to be safe. And its safe for childen so Im guessing it would be fine for budgies.
